3月4日上午9点到11点，在北京西站北二出口，由绿色啄木鸟组织联合西站城管，北京化工大学志愿者，中央财经大学金融学院志愿者，北京丰台区右安门公共文明引导员，以及北京市丰台区工商分局学雷锋青年先锋队等共60多人，参加了“北京欢迎您，学雷锋志愿服务活动。
活动中救助一名晕倒乘客，帮助40多名旅客搬运行旅，帮助乘客指路咨询服务1200多次，发放城管执法局宣传品3000份。志愿服务总时间：120小时。
“您们都是活雷锋”
在赶往北京西站北二出站口的路上，丰台区公共文明引导员刘玉婷等发现了一个晕倒的50多岁女乘客，当时看到有人躺在地上，刘玉婷等立即上前把自己带的水女乘客喝，并紧急呼救120急救车，等急救车来了护送这位乘客上了120急救车，这位乘客一边感谢公共文明引导员一边说“您们都是活雷锋”。他们根据自己多年来做公共文明引导员的经验，为众多的乘客指路咨询。
“雷锋又回来了”
着黄色背心的来自化工大学以及中央财经大学的志愿者们，看到有大件行李的乘客，就向前征求乘客的意见，希望帮助他们托运行李，在得到对方的同意后，帮助乘客运送到要转乘的地方；其中一个乘客背着大件行李，胳膊下面夹着孩子，志愿者们马上帮助他把孩子抱下来，并帮助他把行李运到要换乘的公交站台，并嘱咐站台上的文明引导员照顾这位乘客上车，这位乘客感激的说：“雷锋又回来了”。
“北京真温暖”
在服务过程中，有穿蓝色志愿者背心的绿色啄木鸟志愿者，他们在出站口看到一个推轮椅的老人（轮椅上坐这残疾人）从出站口出来，两位志愿者马上告诉这位老人：“今天是学雷锋日，我们帮您送出站去”，在路上志愿者给老人讲全市开展的学雷锋做文明有礼北京人的活动，送到站外后，老人看着蓝色背心后的字，握着志愿者的手说：“北京真温暖”！
“像亲人一样”
丰台区工商分局学雷锋青年先锋队也加入了学雷锋活动，他们发放《食品安全手册》，《便民消费手册》一共3000份，并帮助乘客解答消费中出现的问题，以及公司注册登记以及相关的业务。乘客不仅赞扬：“服务周到，像亲人一样”。
