2012年8月12日上午,由搜房网,兰花草志愿服务队,绿色啄木鸟组织共同发起了百家社区公益行动，在马连道常春藤嘉园社区中心广场拉开了序幕,活动展位分为：节能环保知识宣传, 营养饮食健康咨询,法律义务咨询,家庭园艺,青少年心理咨询,阳台菜园等等,绿色啄木鸟公益组织这次主要服务节能环保知识的宣传,共发放《绿蛙在行动》垃圾分类书籍100本,接受群众环保知识咨询70多人次,并接受了公益北京电视台的采访,号召居民从源头进行垃圾分类,实施北京市政府关于节能环保的号召。社区公益行动将持续进行，希望广大志愿者以及居民积极参与，为社会公益事业做出贡献。
